Crap Day

I thought I would be brilliant and schedule my doctor and dentist on the same day. SIGH....The doctor wouldn't be too bad, it was just a follow up on an ultrasound that I had done a couple of weeks ago. No, I am not pregnant. Just having some complications. I head to the doctor after Sammy's program at school, and I need to use the restroom. As soon as I am done, they inform me that they need a urine sample. But I'm empty people! So I sit there guzzling water. Good news, my ultrasound was good; bad news, the doc wants to do a procedure next week. It will hurt and I'm not looking forward to it. But he prescribed some sedatives, so hopefully maybe I can fall asleep during it. Then I had a bad blood draw. It hurt like H#$$! I'm usually pretty tough when it comes to needles, the nurse said my vein rolled. Whatever. It is midnight and my arm still hurts.
I still haven't peed, but in a few hours I have a dentist appt right there, so I tell them I will come back then. So I go back, do my thing, and they tell me, guess what? We don't need the urine since you aren't doing the procedure today. Whatever. Go to the dentist. Get numb in a horribly painful way. My dentist said I am officially the hardest patient he has to get numb. Not really the award I want. Felt like I had been beat up by the time I left.
I don't think I will continue to take care of myself. It hurts too bad. But now that I am DONE with the dentist, and almost done with the doctor, I guess I can follow it through to the end. I felt bad for myself today, but tomorrow is a new day with brunch in the morning! It's already getting better!
