The last few weeks have been completely craptastic. 100%. Now it is O-V-E-R. We've had good and bad.Bad: We've moved.
Good: We are staying in the same area and will now have a three car garage.
Bad: Our house closed before the new house was ready.
Good: The Dana's are letting us bunk with them. Seriously, true friendship. Seriously.
Good: the Dana's have some weird hot water thing-a-ma-jiggy that gives you instant hot water. It also puts hot water in the toilets. Your bum gets a steam spa treatment every time you go. TMI? Perhaps.
Bad: Mortgage companies. Bad bad bad.
Good: The new house has a ton of shade trees and no scorpions. My number one fear living here in Arizona. My old house didn't have them and I couldn't go to a new house that had them.
Bad: We've had a lot of unanswered questions that have weighed very heavily on our minds. Where to live, What State to live in, How will this affect our kids, Our jobs.
Good: Walking into a house you are contemplating living in and immediately knowing that you have come home. I had criteria for my next house, and this house doesn't cover them, but it just feels so right.
Bad: I did the ugly cry. I yelled and screamed at people on the phone. I hung up on someone. (who then called Nate and tattle told on me that I hung up on her) I thought about punching someone in the face. (Same person I hung up on)(I really did, I know you think I am mild-mannered, but I think something shifted in my brain after being crapped on so many times.)
Good: Nate didn't let me punch someone in the face.
Bad: We had to take Sammy to the ER. Thought perhaps she had appendicitis.
Bad: Most expensive constipation episode ever.
Good: She is feeling better.
Good: Amazing friends, family and church family that have checked in on us, asked us what they could do to help.
Good/Bad: we move in to our new house Easter weekend, so the Dana's get us for another two weeks. Bad, our storage unit isn't open on Easter.
Good: when we get settled in and recover from our craptastic month, (this post doesn't even cover the crappiness of it all) I am making Nate take us to San Diego.
