I want to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and words while I have been stressing out with my "medical crisis". I got the results of my biopsy today, which is nice, they told me it would be 4 weeks. I have an endometrial infection. All I need to do is take antibiotics. WHEW! They also found that my thyroid levels are off, so I am taking meds for that. I have to think that I should be feeling better soon. I have been feeling lousy for quite a long time, and in a funny way, I feel vindicated knowing there is actually something wrong and I am not a hypochondriac. And I am grateful that there is an easy fix for both of my issues.
I went to the pharmacy the other day and I didn't even need to give my name. They knew who I was. That's no good. Hopefully after today I won't be back there for a long time!

So, so glad you got a diagnosis, and that it's easily managed! Eat lots of yogurt. At least that's what everyone tells me when I have to take an antibiotic :) And feel better soon.

AWESOME! glad they came back wtih nothing too scary or invasive to do next! WHOOHOO antibiotics are fab! and WHOOHOO on not being a hypochondriac. that is always a relief i always doubt my accuracy in self diagnosis too but every time. i was right. great.
i always feel like i should give out christmas cards to all the people i see so often, the pharmacy, the drive through guys at my fave sonic, the dr's office staff. i see those people more often than some of the family.

I know what you mean when you say you felt vindicated. You never want you or your kids sick, but sometimes you just know when something is wrong. Convincing the doctor is something else.
