I must give thanks this week for living in the beautiful, diverse and fantastic country! I am so grateful to be living here, where we can be educated, live our religion, go anywhere that we want to. Nate and I were watching a documentary last night about the war in Iraq and we were commenting that the citizens there didn't pay any attention to the fact that there were soldiers and tanks going down the street because they were so used to it. I couldn't imagine that here in this country.
I am grateful to the men and women both past and present who fight and sacrifice to make us safe and to help others in different countries safe. Regardless of your feelings about the war, you can't dispute the fact that these are wonderful men and women.
I'm thankful that as a woman and as a mother of daughters that we can go to school and be anything that we want to be! I'm thankful to worship my God as I see fit.
And I haven't seen nearly as much as I would like to, but I love to travel the country and see the diversity in the landscape and the people. We truly live in the best place on Earth!

I felt kind of emotional this 4th of July. I have a brother in law who just finished his 2nd tour in Iraq, and after talking with him I feel so blessed to live in this country and for the sacrifice of our soldiers!
How sad people fail to recognize how truly great the USA is!
Sometimes people get caught up in politics or whatever and forget what an amazing country we live in. We are truly blessed!
I agree with you 200%! This is a wonderful blessing!
