Got up at 2:30 a.m.
Got to Flagstaff and felt a horrible sensation. Nate says it is called cold.
Tumbling Tumbleweeds
Using the bathroom at McDonalds in Page. Please....never again!!!
Watching a huge flock of Snow Geese. Too bad Nate was driving, he would have gotten his imaginary shotgun out.

Coming in out of the cold to mom's hot chicken noodle soup. Does it get better than that?
My kids tried to make peanut butter out of the acorns they were cracking. I tried to explain the concept, but it was lost on them:)

Chin Wah. Ahhhhh.
It is great to be home! I have to admit, I don't think of Utah as home anymore. But the second I start through the old neighborhood I feel like I never left. (My folks still live in the house I grew up in.) It is in the low 50's, but I love being out in the cold in a jacket and if you are in the sunshine it all feels so right. Feeling pretty tired, even though I was able to sleep in the car some. I bet Nate was laughing at me as I dozed with my head flopping around and my mouth hanging open. I guess he has that right since he drove the whole way. Tomorrow I am going to my sister's Super Saturday and Nate is taking the kiddos duck hunting. I hope he doesn't live to regret that. Then we will get together with Nate's family and do a birthday part for Meggy. Fun fun fun!

Welcome back to Utah! You came right when it's supposed to be crazy cold...hope you brought flannel! Even though I still live relatively close to my parents' house, I get that same "home" feeling when I drive into their neighborhood. Familiarity is a lovely feeling :o)
is Chin Wah still good? Is it still busy inside? Glad you got here safely!
Don't forget to stock up on Lyn Wilson's while you're here!
