Week 9

This week I have so much to be thankful for, being back with friends and family. Since I have been in Salt Lake this week, I want to give thanks for MOUNTAINS! I have always loved living on the Wasatch Front. When I moved to the Phoenix area, I truly felt a loss for the mountains. (We have little hills and bumps there that are referred to as mountains, but I know they aren't.) Growing up just 10 minutes away from the mouth of the canyon, I practically had them in my front yard. I love driving into the valley and seeing them. Truly the are made by the hand of God. They seem to be one of the few things in life that are unchanging and constant. I love seeing them wherever we go when we are driving around.

Mountains are great aren't they. Too bad we don't have quite the same grand moutains as Utah.

Nothing compares to those Utah mountains!! I haven't been in a while, so I'm excited to go this summer. We do live in an amazing world full of so much beauty!! (Too bad we couldn't have a little more of the mountains here....)

I wouldn't have thought of this blessing, but although we have bumps here in AZ, they are truly amazing.

I SO agree with how you feel when returning to the mountains you call home! I grew up in western Montana and it is just something almost indescribable when you enter your mountains! It brings tears to the eyes of those who don't cry!

Yeah...Arizona isn't really much to look at. Every time I visit Utah, I marvel at how beautiful the mountains are. I have always thought it would be so nice to live there. Yet at the same time my heart belongs here in AZ.

What a great blessing! I hope you had a great time (It sounds like you did!)

I am a mountain girl by far. I miss Utah for that very reason. Growing up In Alpine that was our backyard. I miss them- Great blessing!!
