Recipes for LOVE!

I am nesting or something, I can't stop with my projects. I decided to clean out the kitchen cupboards when I came across a recipe box. I opened it up and found some Recipes for Love that I got at my bridal shower! How funny!
Here are a few:
~Just be happy.
~No matter how long you've been married, you still have to call your friends and ditch your hubby to go do things with them! Love, Sarah and Alicia
~Learn to give in and love unconditionally. Don't let anyone push you around either. Good luck!
~Rule #1 The woman is always right! Rule #2 If something goes wrong, refer to rule #1
~Be sure to give Nathan a big hug and kiss every night when he comes home.
~1. Never give in and sleep on the couch, make him. 2. Teach him to cook real early. 3. Have a date night once a week.
~Learn to communicate with your problems. Say I love you and do the little unexpected little things like little love notes in his lunch, a special dinner, a cake he likes to eat, etc....
~Always stay best friends!
~Don't waste time trying to fill expectations; just work on having fun.
~Talk about your true feelings; don't let little irritations build up. Discuss them while you can do so civilly.
~Think well of each other and your love will grow and become stronger.
~Be kind and considerate of each others needs. Be sure to listen to each other and keep the communication lines open.
~Just be happy and always laugh!
~Be patient and have lots of understanding. Don't stay mad.
~Patience....look for the best in your hubby and all you do. Love begets love. Loving thoughts, loving actions, loving deeds.
~Take time for each other. Keep each other #1. Try to have love, laughter, and lots of understanding in your home.

Pretty cute huh. They weren't signed, so I don't know who wrote what. I like the one where I should teach Nate how to cook. Yeah right, he learned out of necessity.

What advice would you give to a newly married couple?

Yes, you should ditch him and hang out with your super cool friends (me and Alicia). Why don't we do that more often?

Always remember that nobody is perfect, overlook the little irritating things they really dont matter in the grand scheme of things. Say prayers as a couple every night, you can't ever go to bed mad at each other after you say a prayer!!
